Last weekend we took our very first "real" family vacation. We immediately learned that things are just not quite the same when you have a baby joining you. LOL, we shared a laugh about how we had made plans to do this or that, and then realized mid- planning that hey, that is not going to work.
What did work was absolutely a wonderful time together, relaxing, eating, playing, and exploring. Having Carson has changed our lives, and I will let you judge what we think about that and our first family vacation. Here is the recap of day 1.

Awww. I love that last one of him! Too cute! Yay for vacations -and isn't weird how babies don't like the beach?! Jet was not a fan either. Hopefully they'll outgrow that. :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Vacations are the best. Cody said he told you about our and how much fun we had. It was so great to just get away for a couple of days and rest but have fun too. Love you all. Miss you so much. How's October looking? :) :) :)
